From May 18th to May 20th 2013, the Athletics Baseballclub will organize the 16th Annual International Senior Baseball Tournament „FINKSTONBALL XVI“. The tournament is open to a maximum of 12 senior baseball teams and will be played on two fields. The preliminary round games will be played on Saturday and Sunday morning. Semifinals will be on Sunday afternoon, on Monday (bank holiday) the finals and the homerun-derby will take place on the main field. Over 2000 players in more then 80 teams from 19 different nations have participated in the past fifteen years. The FINKSTONBALL Baseball tournament is Austria’s biggest Baseball event and hundreds of visitors watch the games throughout the weekend. This tournament is combined with an outstanding music festival. Each night (Friday to Sunday), top Austrian and International bands will perform live on the main stage. All events will take place in a multi purpose event hall, located directly next to the baseball fields.
